Quick – Raeford "Ray" Quick graduated from West Stanly High
School. Has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science
in Management Information Systems from UNC-Charlotte. He has 25+ years experience in
manufacturing/operations management. He is a member of Red Cross Baptist Church.
He is on faculty with Stanly Community College teaching computer information
systems/computer engineering technology. Ray lives at 231 East Red Cross Road, Oakboro, NC
28129.

Darice Greene – Darice Greene has been a resident of Red Cross
for 37-years. He graduated from Piedmont High School and has been in the Fastener
Industry for 31-years. He has been with Fastener Supply Comany of Charlotte for
29-years and is currently the Central Manager of Operations. He holds a lifetime CPM
certification (Certified Purchasing Manager) as recognized by the Institute of Supply
Management. Darice and Renea Greene have been married for 37-years and live at 233
Peach Tree Road, Oakboro, NC 28129. They attend Red Cross Baptist Church and have
two children, Matthew and Christy.

Heath
Hahn – Heath Hahn is a life-long resident of Red Cross with a family history
dating back several generations in the Red Cross community. He is a veteran of WWII and is
active in community affairs. Charter member of Red Cross Baptist Church. Retired lineman
for Union Electric. Worked for Flame Refractors for 15 years before retiring. Heath and
Kathleen Hahn (married 61-years) have three children, six grandchildren, and four
great-grandchildren. Heath and Kitty live at 524 South Oakridge Road North, Oakboro, NC
28129.

Jerry
A. Jordan – President and owner of Jerry Jordan Enterprises Inc. and Yadkin
Transportation Inc. Retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S Army Reserves and Graduate
of the Command and General Staff College. Received a B.S from East Tennessee State
University. Has served as co-chair of the Central North Carolina Council B.S.A. Golf
Tournament and 2007 Chairman F.O.S. Stanly County. He and his wife Evon have four
children, Brent, Aaron, and Chris and Eric Snuggs. He and his family are members of
Lakeview Baptist Church where he serves as Chairman of the Building Committee. 2005-present - Elected Council Member

Larry
Wayne Smith – Larry Wayne Smith is a life-long resident of Red Cross with a
family history dating back several generations in the Red Cross community. He is a local
businessman owning several investment/business properties in the Red Cross community. He
and his wife, Larcenia, are members of Big Lick Baptist Church. Larry Wayne and Larcenia
live at 642 Hilltop Road, Oakboro, NC 28129.

- Bobbie Kay Thompson

Bobbie
Kay Thompson - After graduating as an honor student from Oakboro High School,
Bobbie Kay began a successful career with Allstate Insurance Company where she retired
with 41-years of service. She is a member of Red Cross Baptist Chruch, and was
maried to the late Robert D. Thompson. She has two sons, Mark and Stacy, and enjoys
being a grandmother to four grandchildren, Caleb, Levi, Jackson, and John. Bobbie
Kay was appointed as Town Clerk when the Town was incorporated in August 2002. 2002-Present - Red Cross Town Clerk
